Since Fall 2025, UNCW's NP concentrations have run two course sequences at once. A new FNP student moves through NSGL 650 to NSGL 653, while an earlier cohort may still be in NSGL 620 to NSGL 622; AGPCNP and PMHNP have parallel changes. Each course has its own populations and hours, and a good match reflects them: pediatric and adolescent patients arrive in NSGL 651, women's health in NSGL 652, and a 240-hour capstone closes the sequence.

UNCW's review moves in the order submissions arrive, and a packet with a gap costs time. The packet itself carries cover pages, a Partner Site Acknowledgement Form the preceptor signs, a Student Placement Acknowledgement Form and the preceptor's CV, and each piece depends on accurate details.
The service you choose should gather and check the preceptor's CV with experience dates and the clinical site listed, the license number, the email for evaluation links, the agency's full name, address and county, and a contact for agreement questions. It should also tell you early whether the site wants an affiliation agreement or asks for extras such as HIPAA training, a digital photo or a recent physical. It works inside UNCW's site-fee rule
Some clinical sites charge an honorarium for hosting a student. UNCW's handbook is firm about how that works: the Graduate Clinical Placement Team processes the fee, it lands on your UNCW student account, and students may not pay a site directly. After the term starts, a preceptor who leaves puts every remaining hour at risk, because hours must be finished before the last day of classes.
Look for a service that answers quickly, starts outreach as soon as intake is done, and treats a mid-semester loss as urgent. UNCW allows up to four preceptors in a clinical course, and a good service uses that room to add a second site when one practice falls short.
